Occasionally I need to put my headphones on and listen to this as loudly as I possibly can just to drown everything out. That may be emo or whatever, I don’t care. I need to keep focused on what matters and remember what’s important. That’s all there is.
A few weeks ago we announced that we were making some improvements to the BBC’s Weather website, including a clearer, more focused design of the homepage.
Since then we’ve been running a “beta” version of the new site to allow us to try out these new features and listen to your comments and feedback. Following that successful trial period, I’m pleased to say that we are launching the new weather site today.

Security firm’s email also identifies location of possible kettle.
Two hours ago, I was passed this email via a trusted source. It suggests that police plan to kettle demonstrators along the route of today’s education march, and that plans are in place to use potentially lethal water cannon “if need be”. The memo appears to come from Business Monitor International (BMI, a security risk company. The police have denied the suggestion.
